2018 is here and we want to know are you ready to rise to the challenge of this year? THRYVE has created a 10 week challenge that will challenge you regardless of your fitness. This challenge takes commitment, mental fortitude and guts.
Welcome to the Mt. Everest Challenge
29,029 Feet of Elevation, 10 weeks to accomplish the equivalent elevation from anywhere in the world. Sound easy? That comes out to roughly 484 ft a day if you do 6x/week and rest 1 day.

What is included in this program?

What do you earn for finishing?

How do you do it?
You can Hike, Run, Walk, Cycle, Climb (rock climb, indoor or outdoor), Step (stairmaster machine), even use an Elliptical to earn your elevation. All you have to do is log your elevation each day. You will need to either take a photo of machine you were on or use an app (MapMyRun, MapMyWalk, MapMyHike, Garmin, Strava, Fitbit, Nike Run, Diverge) to keep track of your workout.
Easy to Use App
We will provide you with a log in to our Trainerize App where you can log you daily workouts. The great thing about this app is that you can take it anywhere with you and adding your workouts will be easy. We will already have programmed into your personalized program (Mt. Everest Challenge with various options, run, bike, climb) so all you have to do is click the drop screen to select which modality you are using and log your workout.
There are so many devices you can use to track your workouts that the easiest way for us to verify your workouts is by sending us a picture of your treadmill, nike watch or MapMyRun finish screen so we can ensure you finished the workout.
You will then send a screen shot of your final workout in your Trainerize Message Center. If you prefer to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org at the end of the week with all of your photos you can do that as well. **This ensures that we can verify work completed.
